Blaze On! Fun Run is coming up on Friday, November, 3rd. Is your child registered? It's super easy & fast and more information can be found on the attached flyer. All those that register receive a free Fun Run shirt and will be a part of the competition between grade levels and classrooms!

Become a Secret Pal!

At Baranoff, the 5th grade takes a 3 day field trip to Camp Champions, at The Outdoor School. Campers swim, rock climb, climb high ropes, learn about the geology, history and landscape of Central Texas.

The Bowie vertical team, which includes Baranoff, will have school for staff and students on Monday, September 25.

Principal Fundraiser Kick Off!

Come join the Baranoff Pentathletes! Fun board games to build upon basic math concepts, develop critical thinking and problem solving as well as good sportsmanship. Check out the nationally based website at www.mathpentath.org.

GT Nominations have changed this year. There is only ONE nomination window for each grade level. This is a change that was made districtwide. Nomination windows will be as follows:

Beginning at the start of 2017-18 school year, student meal accounts will no longer be managed through MySchoolBucks, but will be accessed by creating a SchoolCafe account.

As you all know, we are a large campus of over 1,000 students. Our goal for your child(ren) is to provide a loving, supportive, and safe learning environment. Safety is of utmost priority. We have worked on creating safer dismissal procedures for the school year.

New Parent Orientation is an informative session that will help you as a new parent become more familiar with how Baranoff works. The orientation will introduce and advise you on how to stay connected wtih activities and procedures that help keep Baranoff thriving.

We all know that reading is the foundation of learning. That is why the Austin ISD literacy plan focuses on strengthening literacy both inside and outside the classroom.

On March 10, 2017, Baranoff students participated in Pinwheels4Peace. The students created and displayed pinwheels that showed their thoughts and ideas about peace.
